MYTH: Calcium Helps Your Bones and Osteoporosis. TRUTH: It's Way More Complex Than That

Nope. This does nothing for your bones.

Calcium is extremely difficult to get into your blood in a usable form. Most people think that since your calcium levels decline when you get osteoporosis, all you have to do is increase your calcium intake. It doesn't work.

Some people were told by their doctors that you need Vitamin D to make the calcium bioavailable. This is true. But it still doesn't help.
